Exporting the Encryption Key




The encryption key is mandatory to have if the software had to be reinstalled at any point in time (such as after a system failure). Please email this file to yourself, save it offsite, and save it in multiple locations. We do NOT store the encryption key.

Exporting Encryption Key to File/Printed Copy (follow these steps on the computer performing backups)

1. Please open BloxOnline Monitor by clicking on (Start->All Programs->SnapBlox->BloxOnline->Monitor).

2. Select 'Preferences'.

3. Select 'General Settings'.

4. Select 'Export Encryption Key, To Disk'.

5. Enter your password.

6. Select a location to save the key, select Save, select OK to save complete dialog box.

7. To print a copy of the key, select Export Encryption Key, To Printer. Select Okay.

8. Close the BloxOnline Monitor.
