Good morning, as you may have noticed, we have distributed a new software package to our managed servers called Softaculous. Softaculous is an automated script installation program very similar to Fantastico, which you may have used to install scripts like WordPress. Softaculous software is immediately available to your account within the cPanel interface.

If you have previously used Fantastico, your existing script installations have already been imported into Softaculous. You will find that Softaculous is organized in a way similar to Fantastico, installations and upgrades are straightforward and day to day management will be done though Softaculous not Fantastico.

Softaculous was chosen as the default Auto Installer having 260 great scripts, quicker update times on existing software, especially when Security matters today. This will help provider better security to your account(s) from intrusion with the upmost current secure version of the software installed (ex, WordPress, Drupal, Typo3, etc).

On April 19, 2012 we will remove Fantastico from all managed servers, it will no longer be available after that point. Please remember this will not cause any issues as your existing script installations have been ported over into Softaclous.
